With summers raging, it is imperative to make sure that our Pets get enough nutrients and water to stay hydrated and healthy. Here are 5x best fruits to share with your dog during this summer season – 

1. Watermelon – Some pieces of this succulent fruit sans the seeds and the outer cover make for an ideal summer treat for the dog. Not only is this fruit hydrating in nature but is packed with fiber & potassium as well as vitamins A, B6 and C. With 90% water composition this fruit serves as an excellent way to beat the heat!
2. Mangoes – This delicious tropical delight is often a weakness of many taste buds including canine sensibilities. Although it is safe to feed the fruit’s flesh, but you should not feed its peel or pit to the pet as it can be hazardous. Mango is extremely healthy for the dog as it is a rich source of Vitamin A, B6, C, E, flavonoids, antioxidants (prevent cancer), and fiber (aids in digestion). All of this goodness put together in the fruit also helps to strengthen the immune system and lowers the cholesterol.
3. Banana – Chop it or Freeze it and give it your furry baby..If your Pet has a sweet tooth, mash banana and mix it with some honey or homemade peanut butter as a treat.
